A Winter's Serenade

Where true love is dwelling, God is dwelling there:
Love’s own loving Presence love does ever share.
                                                                  Universalis Hymn

The shushing serenade of snow
is bright
falling
through the blue shadows
of morning
and winter's sleep.

Low-bending
pines and laden branches
through the scrawling wood,
veiled and deep.

Awakening
to this pearling peace
that is remaking the world,
and mending with wonder
the snapped and broken
in the piling stars
we are steeped.

  1. Cindy, I really like this peice. The end rhyme is fantastic and stays with me. Oh, to be steeped in peace! I pray it for you and all of us! Enjoy the day, friend
