The Time Is Now

But I through the greatness of your love
  have access to your house.
I bow down before your holy temple,
  filled with awe.
                                              Psalm 5:8

The time is "now," say the crowds
                                                      of leaves shrugging and hunching
                                                      over their roots,

                                                      spindling deeper into the darkness,
that has been with us all along,
                                                      as their light sheds

                                                      a brightening blush of eternity
                                                      rising out of ashes
                                                      with arms of fire,

                                                      holding the gravity of time
                                                      up into the infinity
                                                      of love.
