by act and deed, your praise be sung.
Inflame with perfect love each sense,
that others’ souls may kindle thence.

We gathered the fallen pages of light
from the books of summer,
and what meaning we ran beneath
has come to settle
on the floor of afternoon,
where we piled our Eden high,
wild with joy
leaping up
into the falling,
down onto the disheveling,
laughing in the ways
we are held
in love;
in His smoldering
garden
of autumn,
inflaming
what is lost,
and what is given
away.
Oh this is the most precious ever!!!! Love it!
