Eucharistic Adoration

Holy Thursday Vigil

My heart is ready, God.
  My heart is ready.
 I will offer you music and song.
Awake, my glory,
 awake, lyre and harp.
I will awaken the dawn.
 I will proclaim you among the peoples, Lord,
and make music for you among the nations,
 for your mercy reaches as high as the heavens,
your faithfulness to the clouds.
May you be exalted above the heavens, O God;
let your glory cover the earth.
                                                          Psalm 57

Let us adore our Savior, who at the Last Supper, on the night he was betrayed, entrusted to the Church the memorial of his death and resurrection to be celebrated throughout the ages.
                                                              Universalis Prayer

Come and Watch With Me

Candlelight flickering
their forms upon
the long walls
and blackened window glass;

silence wrapping the columns
one by one
holding the space
opening up

where Christ meets us
in rings of incense
and rows
of wooden pews;

time going out
in His presence
that comes for us
in our dark and falleness

like full moon light
breaking through mosaic clouds
rimming them
as they go.

Come and watch
and pray.
