I feel like the simplicity of the couplets bolsters the simplicity of your premise: if this, then that/if music, then love. "the latticed silence of listening" is my favorite phrase - such beautiful language. I appreciate, too, the relationship between "threads" and "shawl" in the 10th stanza. The love that exists in the space between is such a profound image and belief. It brings with it a soft peace.
